keri laytonKeri Layton, ND
Dr. Layton was born and raised in RI.  She received an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College in 1999.  After college, she worked in Boston as a research assistant on the Human Genome Project, then as a high school biology teacher.  Many of the kids she worked with were struggling with learning disabilities and ADHD.  It was this experience that solidified her desire to become a Naturopathic Doctor.

During her medical training in Seattle, WA, Dr. Layton continued to work in research at Bastyr as well as at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle.  Dr. Layton graduated from Bastyr University in 2006 and completed a residency in Integrated Family Medicine in Atlanta, GA, with a specialty in Functional Medicine and chronic disease.  There she worked closely with physicians of different backgrounds to solve the complex health issues that accompany chronic conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue, Lyme disease, cancer and many others.

It is a passion of Dr. Layton to see Naturopathic Doctors fully integrated into the health care system.  She is committed to seeing Naturopathic Doctors gain the right to practice the full scope of their training.  She served on the Board of the RIANP as Secretary and President through 2014, bringing RI closer to licensing NDs than it had ever been before, and the work continues.

Dr. Layton believes that everyone can and should have vibrant health.  She uses evidence-based therapies and traditional wisdom to work with all health issues.  She enjoys working with people of all ages, from birth to end of life.

Dr. Layton moves her practice to Winchester, Massachusetts in April 2015 from RI. Together with her husband and 2 children, her relocation to the Boston area allows her to continue partnering with members of her New England community to improve their health and wellness.
