Keri Layton, ND
Dr. Layton received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College in 1999 and graduated from Bastyr University with her Naturopathic Doctorate in 2006. Throughout her training, she worked in both laboratory and clinical research settings to support. She completed a residency in Integrative Family Medicine in Atlanta, GA, with a specialty in Functional Medicine and chronic disease.
Complex health issues, such as autoimmune disease, challenges in fertility, GI and immune conditions of all types, fatigue, hormone imbalances, allergies, skin conditions, aging and many others, take time to repair. Dr. Layton sees herself as a partner on this road to health, teaching patients how their symptoms are related to each other over time, and partnering with conventional providers to optimize results. She uses evidence-based therapies and traditional wisdom to work with these conditions.
A primary goal for Dr. Layton is to educate and empower her patients to achieve and maintain their most vibrant health. In addition to using diet, Functional Medicine testing and evidence-based natural therapies to address underlying health concerns, Dr. Layton is a certified instructor of the Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) Program created by the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. This is an excellent introduction to Naturopathic practices, and a powerful tool for existing patients. Welcome! I am Liz Allen, Massage and Craniosacral Therapist at Winchester Natural Health Associates. My goal is to support your journey toward balance and whole-being wellness through Integrated Massage and Craniosacral Therapy.
My journey began in high school, when I first became aware of difficulty learning in traditional settings. It wasn’t until I was in the Solidago School of Massage Therapy that I realized that content, for me, was everything. I was instantly taken with the way the human body functioned and the different ways it could heal. After completing my Massage training in 2006 I continued my newfound love of education through various courses and workshops, including prenatal massage, TMJ healing and headache relief.
When I was introduced to Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute in 2016 I knew I had found a profound answer for many of my clients. As Massage focuses on using pressure and manipulation for pain relief, in Craniosacral work many clients experienced feeling more at ease with their bodies and an even deeper, more profound sense of relaxation.
My expertise includes Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Somatoemotional Release and Reiki. As an intuitive therapist, I am dedicated to combining any and all of these therapies to develop an individual treatment plan that will address your specific needs that day. I look forward to holding space for you to rest, unwind and discover your natural direction of ease!
