Children’s health Issues

There are many wonderful safe and gentle natural treatments for kids. These include acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal medicine, and nutrition and can be used independently or in conjunction with conventional treatments.

Acupuncture for kids? Yes! Older children and teens can respond well to gentle treatment techniques while young children, infants and those who might be anxious are treated using needleless acupuncture approaches including acupuncture massage and the use of magnets. Acupuncture can be used independently or in conjunction with conventional treatments.

Example of a natural health care approach to a childhood illness:

Recurrent ear infections are a common but not normal occurrence for kids. A child who has recurrent ear infections would benefit from natural interventions We would work to strengthen the immune system and reduce inflammation in the ear canals. This would make ear infections less frequent. If an ear infection did occur we could use natural therapies to help treat the symptoms to provide relief or refer you back to your pediatrician for conventional treatment if you desired.
