WHO DO WE TREAT?

Winchester Natural Health Associates provides quality natural health care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Our aim is to restore your health and to keep you healthy using drug-free, non-surgical treatments. We treat many acute and chronic physical and mental/emotional conditions and aim to help you to look and feel better, even if you are taking medications.

 

 

WHAT SERVICES ARE NOT OFFERED?

Among the services we do not provide are:

• surgery

• prescribing pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy

• emergency services

DOES WHNA TAKE INSURANCE?

 

Unfortunately, medical insurance in Massachusetts is not required to cover naturopathic medicine (yet!). Acupuncture may be an included benefit on your plan. Please check with your insurance company to see if it is a benefit. We do not bill insurance to keep your costs down. We require full payment at the time of service, but will provide you with any information you need to get reimbursed by your insurance company, should they cover your appointments.

DO YOU TAKE FSA/HSA BENEFIT CARDS? 

 

 Yes, you can use your benefit cards for our services, usually including supplements and functional testing.

WHAT OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?

 

We take major credit cards, cash and checks.

WHERE DO I GET THE SUPPLEMENTS THAT ARE RECOMMENDED IN AN APPOINTMENT?

​

For your safety and the efficacy of the supplements we recommend, many of the products we suggest are physician lines. They have been tested by third party labs who guarantee their purity, content and potency. They are also prepared in a way that carefully controls for allergens. They are easiest to access through our office, since these companies do not generally sell their products directly to the public. For your convenience, we can provide you with access to an online dispensary for access to these product between visits. When a product is safe and effective from a commercial source, we will happily recommend it.

ARE LABS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE NATUROPATHIC APPOINTMENT?

​

No, lab fees are separate from the appointment fees. We refer routine lab tests back to your primary care provider, which keeps the costs down for the patient.

IS THERE PARKING?

​

Yes! There is free parking behind our building.  Get directions to Winchester Natural Health Associates.

DO I HAVE TO STOP MY MEDICATIONS?

​

No. We do not prescribe medication, nor do we remove people from their medication. Once you see progress on your current regimen, you can work with your prescriber to create a strategy to reduce or discontinue your meds as indicated.

• would like pre- and/or post-operative care to speed recovery;

• would like support services for chemotherapy and radiation therapy;

• want alternative treatments for behavioral issues;

• want natural treatments for mental/emotional/memory issues;

• want to reduce your stress;

• are interested in improving your nutrition or obtaining your optimal weight
